Birstall, A Little Historic Yorkshire Town Steeped In Local History, Exciting Times For The Town As New Website Launches ✨️

Hello loves, anyone who knows anything about my blogs know my absolute fondness of finding small little quaint Yorkshire towns full of independent shops, amazing food places and a bit of history for you to delve into, let me introduce you to 'Birstall a small little market and mill town in Kirklees, West Yorkshire just a stone throw away from Batley.

Birstall has plenty of historic links, with links to the Brontes and was the birth place of Joseph Priestley the English chemist who discovered oxygen, people travelling from far and wide to discover the history of Birstall and avid Bronte fans are always among the visitors walking in the footsteps of the world famous Sisters which makes me proud to be a Yorkshire lass.
This week a fabulous new website What's On Birstall is being launched which aims to help small local independent businesses, shops and eateries get their name out to a wider audience, the exciting new website launch will also let you know about local events coming up and things happening about town and make people want to travel and visit the town bringing in revenue and custom and putting Birstall firmly on the map.

Birstall has plenty of small independent businesses, shops and eateries such as Gini's Boutique Gift Shop, Cobbles Cafe and Ice Cream Bar, The Bombz, Haggarts Family Butchers, Cafe@Number One, Studios S, Arttastic to name a few, with a wide range of exciting businesses to visit and browse and enjoy I would highly recommend a visit, I think one of my main principles and aims as Yorkshire Food Blogger Of The Year Is making sure I help to get the names out of small Yorkshire local businesses from different towns who may not be on the platform that I am, so I love to use my platform to shout and rave about the small independent family businesses, i much rather help a small business with a family than spend at well known brands and names and Birstall is definetly now one of my favourite new little Yorkshire shopping towns.

Speaking to the face and brains behind the website and project launch the man behind the magic quoted,
The village of Birstall is steeped in history and there are so many hidden secrets in our wonderful village for people to discover. What’s On Birstall will be a central resource to discover local businesses, community events and show places of key interest. The support from the local community has been incredible and we are looking forward to the positive impact continuing as we grow and develop the website, i would like to thank local historians, Ian Blamires and Jennifer Graham for providing content for the website

I think its a cracking idea the What's On Birstall website, people out of town have a quick place to look to see what's going on and what they can enjoy if they are looking for a little Yorkshire town to visit, somewhere out if the norm but like I say steeped with history, small quirky independent businesses and fabulous food, I will always champion Yorkshire and the towns and I'm so glad we now have a fabulous link to Birstall through the website which launches Wednesday, what an exciting time for all involved and the folk of the little Yorkshire town, I am sure the website is going to be a great assett to the businesses and the town .

Keep your eyes peeled for the very exciting website launch on Wednesday 5th July What's On Birstall
